MEDICAL DIRECTOR

JoAnna VanVleet, D.O., DFAPA

Our Medical Director, JoAnna VanVleet, D.O., DFAPA is an Osteopathic Physician and Board Certified Distinguished Fellow of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. VanVleet earned her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida and her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University, College of Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She completed her internship and psychiatric residency at Henry Ford Behavioral Health System in Detroit, Michigan, and currently serves as Medical Director for Foundations Wellness Center, iMind Mental Health Solutions and Florida Psychiatry Associates in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Dr. VanVleet is a member of the Florida Psychiatric Society, American Psychiatric Association, American Academy of Addiction Psychiatrists, American Society of Addiction Medicine and the American Medical Association. She is fully qualified in both general adult and addiction psychiatry.

Scott Robert Heilmann, APRN

Scott Robert Heilmann, APRN, is a board licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in Florida, approved for autonomous practice. He began his career as a registered nurse and has practiced as an APRN since 2017, bringing years of hands on clinical experience to every patient he works with.

At Recovery Bay Center, Scott works alongside our medical and clinical team to support clients through every stage of treatment, from their first assessment through ongoing care. He holds a clear, active license in good standing with the Florida Department of Health and is committed to providing safe, compassionate care that helps each person build a strong foundation for lasting recovery.

Allison Delpesche, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Allison Delpesche is a doctorally prepared, board certified nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of experience as a registered nurse and five years as an Advanced Practice Nurse. She is board certified in both family practice and psychiatric mental health, which allows her to treat the whole person — medical and psychiatric needs together — throughout the course of care.

Her clinical background spans psychiatric assessment and medication management, infectious disease, internal medicine, and virtual and preventive care. She conducts psychiatric evaluations, orders and interprets diagnostics, and builds individualized treatment plans in close collaboration with providers, clients, and families. Allison is committed to evidence-based practice and to helping the people in her care live healthier lives through prevention and early intervention.
